1 | Flora’s, Naxxar

This sweet little hangout is a real treat – pun fully intended. The décor is charming and every cupcake and pot of tea is baked and brewed with love.

2 | Busy Bee, Msida

Busy Bee is something of an institution around the Msida area. The café’s history dates back to 1933, when a gentleman called Ċensu Friggieri opened ‘Busy Bee Bar’, a confectionary serving up some of Malta’s best-loved sweets and treats, including the much-loved Cannoli.

4 | Café Jubilee, Valletta and Gzira

Take a step back in time and nestle into a cosy corner over at Café Jubilee! The vintage décor and delicious food and drink will keep you coming back for more, and you might even get the chance to enjoy a bit of live music while you dig in to some dessert!

5 | Fontanella, Mdina

By far one of the most well-known cafés on the island, Fontanella is the ideal place to rest your tired legs after a full day of sightseeing around Malta’s old capital, affectionately nicknamed “The Silent City”. Our top tip? Try the chocolate cake.
