Paul Curmi, better known as Pawlu ‘il-Pampalun’ whose face is synonymous with the Maltese Carnival. Known and loved in his hometown of Valletta, his passion, and love for Carnival has stolen the hearts of Maltese and foreigners alike. With over 68 years working on Carnival floats, at 87 years of age, Pawlu is still going strong.
