Spring in Malta feels short and sweet compared to our long, sultry summers and chilly, wet winters, so you know we’re very ready to make the most of this fabulous (hay-fever filled) season right from the get-go. Not sure where to start? Here are just 6 of our favourite springtime activities to the things going for you.

1. Go Quad Biking

The ideal way to mix a little adventure with the chance to explore our rugged Maltese countryside, quad biking is something you definitely need to try once in your life! For the best experience, check out our Adventure Package for an action-packed day taking in the stunning sights across Mizieb, Golden Bay, Mgarr, Fomm ir-Rih, and Mdina via Mtahleb before heading to the picture-perfect Dingli Cliffs. After a little breather, end the day at the beautiful Blue Grotto.

2. Have a Picnic in Buskett

The second the sun comes out after the winter season, we’re ready to hit Buskett Gardens for a low-key picnic. Bring the snacks, drinks, football, and laughs and get ready for some laid-back quality time with your favourite people.

3. Try your hand at Rock Climbing

It’s not too warm and not too cold, so this is just the right weather for a spot of rock-climbing! Work that upper body and get up close and personal with our island’s rockiest locations and cliff faces. It might be a bit of a challenge, but you’ll feel like the king or queen of the world once you complete it.

4. Go Horse Riding

This one’s always a favourite of ours, but horse riding feels extra special when the sun’s shining and flowers are bursting into bloom. You’ll get to know a beautiful animal and knock down the stress levels while you take in some stunning Maltese countryside from a different perspective!

5. Cruise around Comino and Blue Lagoon

For a family-day-out with a difference, treat yourselves to a relaxing day cruising around Comino and Blue Lagoon, two of the most spectacular places in the Maltese Islands. Soak up some sun, swim in bright blue waters and enjoy an ice-cold drink as all your troubles wash away with the current.

6. Explore Gozo with a Jeep Tour

We love visiting our sister island of Gozo, and what better way to take in a many of its stunning sights as possible than by taking a jeep tour? Get a good group of friends together and experience the best that the island has to offer, including places like Qala Belvedere, Ramla Bay, Calypso Cave, Ggantija Temples, Xlendi, Kercem Heights, Dwejra, Marsalforn, Victoria, and (of course) Cittadella!
