The Għadira nature reserve is a beautiful bird sanctuary in the north of Malta. Most of the birds seen here are migrants and stop to refuel and rest before continuing their long journey. Currently, the reserve is hosting ten young flamingos which is a record number in Birdlife Malta’s history. Other species of birds, as well as a rich diversity of Flora and fauna can also be seen at the reserve – a truly beautiful place every nature lover should visit!
