Baia Beach Club, Little Armier, Mellieha

Set in Little Armier, an absolutely lovely corner in the beautiful north of Malta, the Baia Beach Club is one of the prettiest and most exotic beach clubs in Malta.  While getting there might a bit of a trip for you (if you are situated in Sliema, St. Julian’s area), the turquoise waters with an occasional colorful fishing boat (called luzzu in Maltese) and the stunning views of the cliffs of Gozo and Comino are definitely worth the hike: particularly for a summer evening chill with exquisite seafood, quality wine, summer tunes and a sunset watch from the Baia Beach seafront terrace.

Since 1972, Baia Team’s mission has been to introduce the breezy, stress-free  Mediterranean lifestyle to the world. By continuously innovating and re-launching this Mediterranean style resort, they have created a little piece of heaven on Earth where their visitors can leave all daily stresses and worries behind and bond over good food, wine, a refreshing dip in the sea, laughter, fun and an abundance of sunshine turning the water into shimmering gold on summer afternoons. Café Del Mar, Qawra

Famous for its legendary parties and music festivals as well as magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea and St. Paul’s Island, Café del Mar is the biggest beach club in Malta (literally the most spacious) with a distinct chill vibe, an abundance of delish snack choices and indelible signature cocktails. Our personal favorites are Shark Attack and Blue Sunset.

Perched on the water’s edge, the simple yet elegant design (by famous Mark Pace) of mostly white furniture with a grand infinity pool blending in perfectly with the Mediterranean turquoise-blues, allows for sensational sunset views further enhanced by the world famous Café del Mar chill-out albums playing in the background.

We are sooo excited! There is more in store for you at Café del Mar as the summer 2019 advances. If you are in Malta this May, definitely check out CDM (short for Café del Mar) Sundays with live DJs (free entrance) taking place every Sunday throughout the summer season. For jazz fans, Jazz Nights will be starting in June, 2019 and continuing throughout the summer months.

And you most definitely do not want to miss the annual Champagne Showers taking place July 6-7, 2019 and MTV Malta Music Week ft. Martin Jensen at Café Del Mar on July 14, starting at 7:30 pm.
